DS 50 Series

The DS 50 Series consists of Compact Tabletop Washer Disinfectors
Sychem’s DS 50 Series of compact washer-disinfectors represents the ideal aid for the cleaning and the thermal disinfection of all types of surgical and dental instruments, with a processing capacity of one DIN tray. The devices automatically execute the three functions of pre-washing, washing, and thermal disinfection. At the end of the cycle, the instruments are ready for sterilisation with no further handling.

In partnership with Steelco, Sychem’s DS 50 Series of washer-disinfectors are designed to allow a simple installation onto a benchtop and provide a practical and safe solution for chemical storage. The built-in water softener provides optimal cleaning effectiveness. The drop-down door can conveniently be used as a loading platform for an ergonomic loading and unloading process.

  • Efficient Washing

    Steelco washer disinfectors are designed to comply with the European EN ISO 15883-1/2 guidelines on decontamination and are classified CE medical device (Community Rule 93/42/EEC).

  • Thermal Disinfection

    Washing and disinfection temperatures are fully adjustable up to 93°C / 199 F. Temperature is monitored by two independent sensors.

  • Drying Efficacy

    Built-in HEPA 14 filtered forced air-drying system provides even and fast drying of surgical instruments. It allows for adjustable time and temperature settings, optimising cycle duration and energy consumption.

  • Smart Filtering System

    The triple water filtering system is easily accessible from the washing chamber. It captures residue preventing re-circulation during the process and extending the pump life.

  • Injection Connection

    Washing injection connection allows the use of injection washing baskets sending water directly into hollow objects.

  • Traceability

    Printer connection to monitor and validate washing phases. USB port available for DS 50 DRS only.

Hygienic Design

The washing chamber and spray arms as well as tank filters are made of high-quality AISI 316 L stainless steel (DIN 1.4404) for long-term reliability and cleanliness. The washing chamber has rounded edges to avoid any dirt traps, minimising the risk of microbial growth. On the bottom and the top of the chamber, the two rotary spray arms ensure optimal cleaning efficacy. Effortless cleaning and maintenance thanks to easily disassembling washing components.

Integrated Chemical Dispenser and Storage System

Built-in automatic liquid dispenser for detergent. A second automatic liquid dispenser typically used for rinse aid chemicals is available as an option. Chemical tanks are conveniently integrated into the front panel and provided with a quantity inspection window.

Soft-Touch Control Panel

High safety and user-friendly soft-touch control system on glass panel with LCD colour display to visualise cycle status, with up to 40 programming options.

Only available for model DS 50 DRS and DS 50/2 DRS.
